In-Person Services Suspended
I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
Psalm 121:1,2
Dear Church Family,
We live in a season of making big changes to our normal lives. Unfortunately our worship services at Wyandotte County Christian Church will be one of those changes. Our Sunday and Wednesday services at the church buildings will be suspended until it is safe to have public meetings again. This will include any meeting of more than 10 people.
Be Encouraged.
WCCC will continue to offer Bible based teaching and lead you in worship during this time. We will be offering new content online starting this weekend, including:
- new sermons, Bible teaching, and worship through music each Sunday morning
- instructions for communion at home
- instructions and guidance for leading your children through a Bible lesson
- curated lists of music, videos, and books
We are now providing communion take-home kits, including communion cups and bread. These can be picked up at the church office or delivered upon request.
What can you do?
You can PRAY for our community, our nation, and our world, especially the sick. Pray for medical personnel and first responders. Pray for those economically impacted by the quarantine. You can CONNECT with neighbors, call grandparents, and encourage others. You can also GIVE generously. You can mail your tithes to the church and continue to give food to God’s Storehouse. We will soon be meeting the urgent needs of those around us, both in our church family and our community.
Remember Philippians 4:6,7
“do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by
prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known
to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding,
will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
