Missions We Love & Support

We take very seriously the great commission given by Jesus to go into the world, make disciples, baptize people in Jesus’ name, and teach God’s Word.

Wyandotte County Christian Church is dedicated to supporting missions all over the world, from our backyard all the way to the other side of the globe. 20% of our weekly tithes and offerings goes directly to the missions that we support. We have a missions committee that faithfully prays for and manages the financial support for the missionaries and ministers of the gospel that we partner with. Our philosophy is to support and bless a few missions in really large ways.

Local Missions

KU Campus Christians, Missions Wyandotte County Christian Church Supports

Campus Christians

Campus Christians is a fellowship of Christ-centered believers composed of college students mostly from the University of Kansas. They meet in a big, yellow house at 1320 Ohio St., right across from Rieger scholarship hall. This ministry is all about training and teaching college students about Jesus Christ, and how to become faithful disciples.
God's Storehouse, Local Missions Wyandotte County Christian Church Supports

God’s Storehouse 

God’s Storehouse is our church’s food pantry. All year long, our church receives donations for non-perishable food items. We distribute these items to members of our community during their times of need, whether they go to our church or not.

Show-Me Christian Youth Home is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing a loving, stable Christian home for children with backgrounds of abuse, neglect, abandonment and unfortunate circumstances. It is their goal to help children realize that we love them, God loves them, and they can learn to love themselves. Services are available to all persons regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or handicap.

Souper Bowl Of Caring

Souper Bowl of Caring is a youth-inspired, youth-led movement working with other groups across the nation including: schools, churches, local businesses, corporations, passionate individuals and NFL teams to tackle hunger in their local communities during the weeks leading up to the biggest celebration in football, Super Bowl. In 2019, nearly 5,000 groups collected over $9.6 million in dollars and food donations for hunger-relief charities across the country.

Gospel For Asia

The primary aim of Gospel for Asia’s ministry is to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with those who have never before heard His name.
Gospel for Asia trains and sends native missionaries because they have proven extremely effective. They are already familiar with the language and culture, and they live at the level of the people they serve, thus removing many social barriers. Gospel for Asia sends 100% of the money you donate to the mission field. Nothing is taken out for administrative expenses.

Operation Christmas Child

Many children around the world have never heard the Gospel message of eternal life in Jesus Christ. They live in hard-to-reach, impoverished communities where parents struggle to provide the basics. Rarely, if ever, do the children receive a present that’s just for them. This year, more than 10.5 million children in over 100 countries and territories received shoeboxes full of special gifts. And, for the first time, these children heard that God loves them. This has resulted in evangelism, discipleship, and multiplication across the world!

Their vision is to join with God to restore His dominion on earth, as evidenced by people of all nations: Worshiping God, Experiencing salvation and continuous life transformation, Fulfilling their God-given purpose, Fostering the emergence of Jesus-following communities.

Missionary Couple In South Asia

This young couple has family ties to WCCC and wanted to work in an area of the world where the most unreached people live. For their security we can’t list their names or the exact place of service. They will be training and equipping nationals to extend God’s kingdom by way of multiplying churches.
