Mission Lake Christian Camp is located in Horton KS and provides spiritual retreats and week long camps for elementary and teenage students. This year’s theme for our summer is God is greater than. If you are interested in attending camp you can go to Mission Lake Christian Camp’s website and find out more details.

Camps are based on the grade you are going into in the fall.

Sr. High Camp (9th -12th Grade) – June 3rd – 8th
Jr. High Camp (6th – 8th Grade) – June 10th – 15th
Junior Camp (3rd – 5th Grade) – June 17th – 21st
Day Camp (1st – 2nd Grade) – June 23rd
Deeper Life (7th – 12th Grade) July 8th – 13th

2012 Grad Celebration

2012 Graduation Sunday will be on May 6th, 2012. During our morning worship service we will be celebrating the life of our high school and college grads. We will hear about there upcoming plans and pray that God blesses them on their future plans. This will be a great day to celebrate as a church family.

5th Annual “Under the Son” Bowling Tournament

On April 15th WCCC will sponsor a bowling tournament at Skyway Lanes in Leavenworth KS. The cost is $6 per person for 2 games and shoe rental. There will be prizes for all age groups. If you are interested in signing up for this tournament please contact the church offices at 913-721-2983

Kid’s Adventure Week – Knights of God

At Kid’s Adventure week, kids will take a trip back to the time of knights, kings, queen and castles to experience what it might be like to be a Knight of God. Kid’s adventure week will feature lively music, medieval type games, crafts and lesson to help them defeat our greatest enemy. Each day kids will be challenged to put on the God’s armor that will protect them against the attacks of the evil one. Kid’s adventure week is for kids ages 3 yrs-5th grade and is free of charge. Kid’s adventure week is June 25-29 from 9 a.m. to Noon. Let your kid’s join in on the adventure

2012 Women of Faith Conference

Join thousands of women as they Celebrate all the blessing of the Lord at the 2012 Women of Faith Conference. This year’s conference is scheduled for Nov. 2nd – 3rd 2012 at the Sprint Center. The two day conference provides a great environment to build relationship with other while enjoying great speakers, world class musicians.

The cost is $101 dollars which can be paid in monthly installments or in full anytime. If you have any questions about the event or would like to register please contact the church offices.

Winter Jam 2012

Winter Jam is returning to Kansas City at the Sprint Center on Friday February 17th. This year’s artist features Skillet, Newsong, Sanctus Real, Grow 1 Crew and many more. Tickets are only a $10 dollar donation at the door. If you are interested in going to the concert please contact the church office and we can give you more details concerning the concert.
